Kevinn Robinson, affectionately known as Chef Big Fella, is a man whose presence is as bold as his flavors. Standing at an impressive 6’8”, the former basketball player turned educator, and chef has built a reputation that reaches far beyond the kitchen. His passion for cooking was ignited at an early age by his late mother, Wanda Robinson, a beloved Home Economics teacher who dedicated 30 years to teaching thousands of students the art of cooking. When Wanda passed away in 2018, Kevinn made it his mission to honor her legacy by carrying forward the skills, love, and soul she poured into every dish.
While his size might earn him attention, it’s his food that steals the spotlight. Nationally respected chefs have recognized Kevinn’s culinary talent, with particular praise for his signature Mustard and Collard Greens—widely regarded as the best in the Gulf Coast region of the United States. His ability to blend tradition with creativity has made him a standout voice in Southern cuisine.
Kevinn is also a dedicated educator and mentor, known for using his platform to uplift and inspire others. Whether in the classroom, the community, or the kitchen, he embodies leadership, resilience, and passion.
